Bio
Nick Gibb joins the Kodiaks Men’s Basketball team in his first season as an assistant coach for the program. He previously played for the Kodiaks from 2017 to 2019.
Gibb brings a strong background in player development, with over 8 years of coaching experience working with athletes ages 9 to 18. He is a local middle school and club basketball coach. Gibb has also been involved in numerous summer camps with different organizations across Alberta.
A high school player at both LCI and CCH in Lethbridge, Gibb went on to play five years of post-secondary basketball. He began his collegiate experience with the Kodiaks before transferring to Concordia University of Edmonton to complete his eligibility. During his playing career, Gibb was named as an all-conference player twice, earned academic All-Canadian honours, and scored over 1,000 career points.
Outside of basketball, Nick holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees. He works as a local middle school teacher. Gibb is excited to return to the Kodiaks program and looks forward to contributing to a successful season on and off the court.
