Women's Volleyball continue winning streak on the road to play-offs

The Women’s Volleyball team continued their race to the play-offs in winning six of their last eight games.  In sweeping Medicine Hat they finished the regular season 9-11.  Friday night in Lethbridge they swept the Rattlers 3 straight with scores of 25-19, 25-13, and 25-21.  Saturday on the road they were pushed to the limit, winning 25-16, 25-17, 15-25, 23-25, and 15-9.  Saturday the team lost middle Rylee Fulmek for the season as she broke her leg, and will be in the Medicine Hat Hospital for a few more days before being released.  Reports are that she broke both tibia and fibula in her lower leg midway through the fourth set.  The team has also lost middle Anna Schwark for the season with a shoulder injury.  This week-end the team heads up to Calgary to play Lakeland College who also sit at 9-11 this season.  The winner plays again Sunday at 2:00PM in the SAIT Campus Centre and will go to the next round in Grande Prairie.
