Women's Soccer remains tied for Second after weekend play

Saturday in Lloydminster the Women’s team waited until the last two minutes of the game before Taylor Thygeson scored the only goal, giving the Kodiaks a 1-0 win.  It was Thygeson’s third, game winning goal of the season, all on the road.   Sunday was not so good as Red Deer opened the scoring in the final minute of the first half and went on to win 2-0.  The loss leaves the Women’s team still tied for second place with Red Deer with a 3-2-2 record.
