Women's Basketball suffer loss to NAIT

The Kodiaks Women’s Basketball team suffered a heartbreaking loss Friday as the visiting OOKS came from behind in the last quarter to earn a hard fought 53-50 road victory.  The loss leaves the Kodiaks with a 9-3 record with 8 games remaining in the schedule.  The Kodiaks led by scores of 8-7 after one quarter, 17-15 at half time and 31-27 after three quarters. Miday through the fourth quarter the OOKS went on a 13-0 run after trailing 40-33.  Deanna Dotts and Sidney Carlson each scored 10 points for the Kodiaks and Dotts pulled down 10 rebounds as she leads the South Division in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and steals.  The team travels to Calgary to play St. Mary’s  (0-14) this Friday and hosts them in Lethbridge Saturday night at 6:00 PM.
