Women's Basketball Signs Two New Players for 2012-13

Sydney Voogel

Catholic Central Cougar Captain Sydney Voogel will be a Lethbridge College Kodiak next season.  The Kodiak coaching staff was very excited to announce their first recruit to commit to the program for 2012-13. Voogel will be studying Nursing. 

 “Sydney brings leadership and great court sense to the program and we could not be happier to have her join us,ʺsaid Head Coach Avery Harrison, ʺShe is one of those players that can take you to the next level, and we are looking forward to watching her grow and improve as our team grows with her.ʺ

Voogel is currently coached at Catholic Central by former Lethbridge College coach and ACAC Coach of the Year Dawn Keith. 



Sydney Carlson

Cardston High School Cougar point guard Sydney Carlson will be suiting up for the Lethbridge College Kodiaks in the fall of  2012.

Carlson, is an outstanding basketball talent heavily recruited by an number of colleges and universities. We feel like we have just solidified a key position in our program with Sydney joining us, said Head Coach Avery Harrison.  She is going to be a major part of our future success in the country. That is how good we feel she is.

Carlson will be registered in the Lethbridge College Nursing program in the fall.
