One Week.

One week. That's it.

In one week's time I will be all packed up and ready for our road trip to Lakeland. Even though we don't leave until friday afternoon, mentally my game preparation has already begun.

With our current record of three wins, three losses(grumble grumble...), the saying "must win" doesn't quite cut it. I would say we are at "do or die". We play both Lakeland and Red Deer next weekend and if this team has any dreams about qualifying for Provincials, we have to come back to Lethbridge on Sunday with two notches in the "W" column.

I am completely comsumed by my desire to beat both of these teams. I can't wait for practice, even though today has been utterly miserable and rainy. I can barely concentrate in class because i keep thinking about what I need to do to help my team win the last four games of the season. That's my goal. Not only to qualify for provincials, but to win the next four games on our schedule. After our last two outings there is no question in my mind that we are capable of being a dominant team. We should finish first if not second in our division.

Ahhhhh! i'm getting too excited. I just hope that everyone else on this team is as excited as i am.
