Men's Basketball sit 10th in the Country after weekend wins

The Men’s Basketball team won both games last week-end over Medicine Hat by scores of 90-88 Friday and 98-72 Saturday night.  Friday on the road the Kodiaks trailed 70-60 before mounting their comeback.  Dom Coward led the way with 19 points and 19 rebounds.  Chris Maughan led all scorers with 27 points and shot an amazing 11 for 16 from the field.  Brendan Blood and Tysen Pushor also scored 15 and 12 points respectively.  Saturday back at home the Kodiaks had a much more convincing win as they led 43-34 at halftime and never looked back.  It was another double double night for Dom Coward as he collected 23 points and 17 rebounds.  Travis Butt with 19, and Chris Maughan with 17, rounded out the top scorers.  Dario Pasquotti dished out 13 assists for his second double figures night in the last two weeks.  Coward continues to lead the ACAC South Division in rebounding, and blocked shots, while he sits 2nd in Field goal percentage, and 4th in steals and assists.  Dario Pasquotti leads the South in assists per game.  The team (ranked 10th in the country) now faces Red Deer at home this week-end with Friday’s game at 6:00, and Saturday at 3:00 PM.
