Kodiaks Weekend Update - Feb 23 

Women's Volleyball 

Our Kodiaks played their last games of the season this past weekend with a pair of games against Olds College Broncos. On Friday night they traveled to Olds and played a few tight sets with the Broncos, but unfortunately lost 0-3. Saturday they hit their home floor with a strong start to the match. As the game played out, however, they suffered a tough loss falling 1-3, which finishes their campaign with a 5-19 mark. 

Men's Volleyball 

Both Friday and Saturday night our Kodiaks didn't waste any time securing two 3-0 wins against the Olds College Broncos. They finished off their regular season with a 15-9 overall mark and a 3rd place finish in the very competitive ACAC South division. With the pair of wins, our Kodiaks punched their ticket into this weekends ACAC championship tournament up in Edmonton at Augustana. They play on Thursday at 1pm against NAIT. Good luck Kodiaks!! 

Women's Basketball 

Kodiaks were on the road this weekend playing at Briercrest. They netted an 83-39 win on Friday night and followed with an 85-36 win on Saturday afternoon. The two wins moved the women's ACAC record on the season to 21-1. This weekend they will have their last home games against Olds College Broncos. Friday night they play at 6pm with the Men playing right after at 8pm. On Saturday afternoon their game will start at 1pm with the Men starting at 3pmCome out and "Get your Growl on!!" 

Men's Basketball 

The Kodiaks traveled to Briercrest and came back with a 91-69 win on Friday night and a 106-77 win on Saturday afternoon. The Men's ACAC record moves up to a 16-6 mark with the last regular season weekend coming up next weekend at home versus Olds College Broncos. Friday night the Women's game starts a 6pm and Men's start at 8pm. On Saturday the Women play at 1pm with the Men starting at 3pm. Both games will have playoff implications! Come out and "Get your Growl on!" Kodiaks fans!
