Edwin Kaitany wins third race in a row

Men's XC won their third Grand Prix in a row. Coming off a win in Edmonton today Edwin Kaitany scored his third win in a row with a time of 26:09! Second place was Alex Harding with a time of 27:30. Sixth place was Alex Andres with a time of 29:16. Rodgers Komen was 18th With a time of 30:41 . Chris Boytress finished 34th with a time of 32:22 .  Kaitany, in winning all three Grand Prix events has also been at near record times for these ACAC events.

The women's 5k placed 2nd overall. The best performance overall this season. They beat Grant Macewan for the first time this season. Mikaela York finished sixth with a time if 20:20. Rachel McKenzie finished 8th with a time of 20:37. Sarah Makowsky finished 12th with a time of 21:34. Sefrah Daviduck finished 18th with a time of 22:36. Caylee Vogel finished 22nd with a time of 23:05. Amee Toporchak finished 27th with a time of 23:34. Alaina Wiebe finished 40th with a time of 24:37. Kate Saucy finished 42nd with a time of 24:44. Gladys Kurgat finished 66th with a time of 29:07.

Next weekend the Kodiaks are in Camrose for the 4th and final Grand Prix XC race of the season. The ACAC XC championships is in October 26th at Concordoa in Edmonton.
