Coach Johansson is a cornerstone of Kodiak success at Lethbridge College.

He has coached the Kodiaks to seven CCAA National Team Championships, and his teams are always a contender for ACAC Gold.  Johansson has coached some of the top runners in the history of the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association, and his dedication to excellence and his runners looks very good for the future of Kodiak Cross Country.

A few of his numerous awards include ACAC Coach of the Year, Alberta Sports and Wildlife Coach of the Year (2005), and he was inducted into the Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame in 2007, as well as being I finalist for Lethbridge Citizen of the Year.

He is a certified Level 4 NCCP coach in Track and Field, and is also an NCCP course conductor.  Bertil not only brings an unequalled  level of expertise to the Kodiaks, but his passion for the sport and his athletes make him not only an invalueable coach to Lethbridge College, but to the ACAC and CCAA as well.
